Information about cookies:

The ovivobikes.com service, in accordance with Article 173 of the Act of July 16, 2004, Telecommunications Law, uses cookies.

Cookies are IT data, particularly text files, stored on the end device of the Service User and are intended for use with the Service’s websites. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the end device, and a unique number.

The entity placing cookies on the Service User’s end device and accessing them is the Service Operator.

Cookies are used for the following purposes:

a) Creating statistics that help understand how Service Users use websites, which allows improving their structure and content,
b) Maintaining the Service User’s session (after logging in), thanks to which the User does not have to re-enter their login and password on each subpage of the Service,
c) Determining the User’s profile to display tailored materials in advertising networks,
d) Adapting the content of the Service’s websites to specific User preferences and optimizing the use of websites, tailored to the individual needs of the User.

The Service uses four main types of cookies:

a) “Session” – files stored on the User’s end device until logging out, leaving the website, or turning off the software (web browser),
b) “Persistent” – files stored on the User’s end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User,
c) “Necessary” – files enabling the use of services available within the Service,
d) “Performance” – files allowing the collection of information about how the Service’s websites are used.

Web browsing software, i.e., a web browser, usually allows cookies to be stored on the User’s end device by default. Service Users can change settings in this regard. The web browser allows you to delete cookies. It is also possible to automatically block cookies. Detailed information on this subject can be found in the help or documentation of the web browser used by the User.

Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some functionalities available on the Service’s websites.

Cookies placed on the Service User’s end device may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Service Operator. For this purpose, the Operator may retain information about the User’s navigation path or the time spent on a given page.

If the User does not want to receive cookies, they can change their browser settings. However, disabling cookies necessary for authentication processes, security, or maintaining User preferences may make it difficult, and in extreme cases, impossible to use the Service’s websites.
