WARRANTIES
Our legal obligation is to deliver the ordered goods without defects. However, if the received product has hidden defects or is damaged during use due to reasons beyond your control, you can exercise your warranty rights, provided that the warranty has been granted, for example, by the manufacturer, importer, or seller, the warranty conditions are specified in the warranty document you received with the goods and directly in the product offer, and the defect that occurred is covered by the warranty and its period has not yet expired. The basis for accepting the warranty is proof of purchase in the form of a receipt or invoice.
Regardless of the above, if after making a purchase it turns out that the received goods are damaged, not working properly, or you have found another inconsistency of the goods with the concluded contract, and you purchased the goods as a consumer, you have the right to file a complaint. As a general rule, defective goods should be returned to the seller to allow them to examine the validity of the complaint. If in doubt, contact us to determine the next steps.
For your complaint to be processed quickly and efficiently, you should meet the following conditions:
WARRANTY CONDITIONS:

The warranty period ranges from 6 months to 1 year, counting from the date of purchase (details are provided below). The warranty is valid only in Europe.
Equipment repairs during the warranty period are carried out by the Guarantor’s Central Service Point (CSP) or other authorized Service Points authorized by the guarantor.
If a defect or damage to the equipment is found during the warranty period, it will be removed free of charge within 14 working days from the date of delivery of the equipment to the CSP or another authorized Service Point indicated by the Guarantor. The warranty period is extended by the time the equipment spends at the Service Point.
Equipment for repair should be delivered to the Service Point in its original factory packaging. In case of incomplete packaging, the risk of damage during transport is borne by the complainant.
The claimed product is collected from the customer via courier after prior written notification of the complaint through the contact form on the website www.ovivobikes.com/contact or email address service@ovivobikes.com
The condition for accepting the device for warranty repair is the delivery by the complainant of:
a legibly and correctly filled out warranty card (without deletions and alterations, with the name, product model and its serial number, if it has one, with the seller’s signature, stamp, and date of purchase, if such a card was sent with the given product, for products that do not have a warranty card, the document confirming the purchase and date is a receipt or invoice),
proof of purchase copy/original/printout of email confirmation,
the claimed product (without accessories) with intact manufacturer’s seals (if applicable to the claimed product).
The Service Point may refuse to perform warranty repair in case of discrepancies in the data in the documents and on the equipment, broken seals, serial number discrepancies, or software changes by unauthorized persons.
The warranty does not cover equipment: used contrary to the operating instructions provided with the equipment, damaged by external factors (mechanical damage, contamination, flooding, atmospheric phenomena, and other causes that cannot be covered by an insurance policy),
modified or used contrary to its intended purpose, damaged due to improper use or incorrect installation,
the warranty does not cover batteries and accumulators if the device has such.
The warranty does not cover activities listed in the operating instructions and belonging to basic operational maintenance, e.g., equipment installation.
In case of an unjustified complaint (after determining the correct operation of the equipment by the seller or Service Point) or rejection of this warranty, the customer covers the costs of checking the equipment and the costs of transporting the device to and from the Service Point.
The Guarantor will not be responsible for the timeliness of warranty services if their activity is disrupted by unforeseen circumstances of a force majeure nature.
Apart from this printed warranty, there are no other express warranties, written or oral. All implied warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty.
The warranty on the sold consumer goods does not exclude, limit, or suspend the buyer’s rights resulting from the provisions of the warranty for defects in the sold item.
According to Art. 558 § 1 of the Civil Code, the Seller’s liability under the warranty for the Product towards a Customer who is not a consumer is limited to 12 months from the date of purchase.
In case of loss or destruction of the warranty card, duplicates will not be issued.
Products intended for assembly are covered by the warranty only if they are installed in specialized service centers or service establishments, confirmed by proof of purchase of such service (invoice or receipt).
The Guarantor shortens the Warranty period for a Customer who is not a Consumer to 12 months from the date of purchase of the Product.
What does the warranty cover for OVIVO electric bicycles and scooters?
This warranty covers all defects of new OVIVO devices for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase and electrical parts (display, controller, motor, and charger), as well as manufacturing defects on an exchange basis.
However, the warranty on the battery is 6 months or 2000 km (whichever comes first) under normal installation, use, service, and maintenance.
Only consumers purchasing this device directly from Us, in our store www.ovivobikes.com, or from our authorized OVIVO dealer (a business partner with whom we have a signed agreement) can obtain protection under this limited warranty.
This warranty covers only the first purchaser and is not transferable.
What does the limited warranty for OVIVO electric bicycles and scooters not cover?
This limited warranty does not cover any problem caused by:
Commercial use, accident, abuse, neglect, shock, exposure to high temperature or humidity exceeding product specifications, improper installation, operation, maintenance, or modification.
Any misuse inconsistent with the instructions contained in the user manual
Failures caused by other equipment
This warranty becomes void if the product is returned with removed, damaged, or altered labels showing any changes (including unauthorized removal of any element or external cover).
This warranty is valid only at the place of first purchase. It DOES NOT apply to other distributors or entities.
OVIVO does not cover the costs of domestic/international warranty shipping at any time.
This warranty is valid with the original proof of purchase from Our authorized dealer. It does not cover wear and tear items.
It does not cover parts with physical damage, or incomplete/damaged cable connections.
It does not cover improper use, modification, neglect, or use of the bicycle or scooter in wet conditions.
It does not cover professional and rental use.
